Subscription cancellation
Stopping automatic renewal is not an automatic refund. Paid-through date, downgrade timing, and profile limit are shown before cancellation. Existing profiles, conversations, and reports are not deleted.
AI credit packs
Unused and partially used batches are handled separately. Refunds or adjustments reference the original batch and ledger rather than rewriting a total balance. Partial-use eligibility requires approved support policy.
Annual reports
A final generation failure provides a support or refund path without charging twice. A completed full refund revokes online reading access while order and refund records remain auditable.
Failed, duplicate, and disputed payments
A browser return never grants entitlement. Payment state comes from server-confirmed PayPal events and queries. Duplicate events are idempotent; disputes, chargebacks, and reversals enter an audited process.
